In life there are things you can not control, circumstances, experiences where you feel you have no say over what is happening. You may feel distressed, you may feel hurt, your may feel disappointed or disillusioned.
You always have a choice, even when it appears you don’t. You can choose to embrace what you are experiencing and grow through the experience it gives, this experience is evolving you into who you will become.
When you feel unclear about what to do, when you feel unclear about what is happening, or what has happened, it can be difficult not to feel afraid or uncertain, and it is challenging. You are up for the challenge, you have attracted this experience for experience of it, it is part of you path.
Embracing what you are feeling, will help you allow this experience to evolve you. It may be helpful to remind yourself how adaptable you are and you have adapted in the past. It may be helpful to remind yourself how resilient you are and how you have shown resilience in the past. You can trust yourself and you can believe in yourself. You do have what it takes to get through this, you have the ability to cope, you have the ability to grow, this experience will evolve you into who you are becoming.
When you experience something that reminds you of what you have previously experienced, it may be helpful to remember you have grown and evolved since then, you are not the person you were then because now you have the wisdom you gained through that experience, so you are all the wiser for it. You can apply that wisdom to what you are experiencing now.
It is alway helpful to step back and take a breath, take a moment to centre yourself, and identify what it is you are feeling. Take a moment to feel what is rising within you. Take a moment to understand where you are in your life, and remember what you matter most to you at this point in time.
Embrace what is transpiring in your life, have faith that this is leading somewhere, in what is unfolding there is meaning. Finding greater meaning in what you are experiencing will help you feel less distressed, you give you a deeper understanding of who you really are, of what is important to you. Get to know yourself through what you are experiencing so you will be able to do what you need to do what is right for you and take better care of you.
Taking care of you, is trusting in your life and believing in you. Taking care of you is knowing that where you are, is exactly where you are meant to be, for the experience of being here. Taking care of you in challenging situations is the most important thing you can do for you and for those you love.
You have an opportunity for greatness here, here in what you are experiencing, though it may be uncomfortable, unpredictable, and uncertain, this is something you have chosen to experience, otherwise you wouldn’t be experiencing it.
Embrace all that you are feeling, believe in your life because it is your life, you are a living part of this experience and you contribute to this experience, it matters what you do, you matter. Be yourself, because this experience needs you, exactly how you are.
Think about what you can do, rather than what you can’t.
Think about what you have, rather than what you haven’t.
Think about what you are doing, rather than what others are doing.
Be yourself, because if you aren’t yourself, who are you?
