Knowing what it is to be you, being totally honest with yourself can be a bit daunting, being prepared to think about what it is to be you, facing up to yourself can be difficult, its tough to admit your flaws. You are flawed, we all are flawed, it is what is to be human and being human you also naturally seek understanding. Seeking to understand yourself, why you do what you do, how you interact with your environment is natural, it’s natural to want to know more about what makes you tick, about what you truly believe and through knowing yourself well, you will live well.
Admitting what motivates you, being honest with yourself and facing up to who you are is liberating, it’s how you become more confident, more sure about what you are doing and about what is happening in your life. Knowing you is all you need to know, when you know yourself well you can achieve greatness and there is greatness in you, when you know yourself well you choose well and good choices bring good outcomes. If you are brave enough to take ownership of what you truly believe and understand how these beliefs manifest in your life, you will free yourself from any limitations you may think you have and you will have greater faith in the life you are actively creating.
The stories you tell yourself help you understand what you truly believe about life, and sometimes what you believe can be conflicting. An example of this could be, on one hand you believe there is divine design to your life, everything is predestined, but you also believe you make your own destiny. These two belief exist within you and both can be true, what is meant for you comes to you but you do with it is up to you, this way both beliefs work together, they no longer compete with each other and you are no longer conflicted by them, when you no longer conflicted you can achieve great things. Another example could be, you believe that what is meant for you will come to you, yet you feel limited where there is never enough or you are never enough, or what comes is not enough. These two beliefs exist within you and both may be true to you but by believing in what you are doing you can make them work together, you accept your limitations but don’t let them stop you creating what you want to create, you do what you can with what you have so you continue to actively create the life you are meant to be living. You change your story by believing in what you can achieve, what you can do with what you have, where you are talented, what you are gifted in, you can actively change your life.
You change your story by actively creating a life you are happy living and to find happiness you have to know what makes you happy, what makes you tick, what excites you, what fulfils you and where you feel you fit. When you take a good look at yourself, when you are really honest with yourself you realised where you belong and what you belong doing. With this awareness of what matters most to you, you know what you need to do and where you need to be. To be able do what you must, you find the strength to get to where you are going, this awareness of self is what will help you find your bliss. And when you follow your bliss, you will live a blissful life, when you know what you are looking for, you can create it, when you believe in who you are and what you are doing, life will support you.
Love your life and life will love you back.
